Q. Who will be working on my home?

Perfect Patch Drywall Repair was established in 2000 by Ken Davis. Ken got his license in 1984 giving him over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. In that time he has mastered the art of Drywall / Stucco Patching, Texturing, & Painting along with many other trades such as installing Custom Kitchen Soffits, Baseboard, & Crown Molding. |
Q. When can I paint my drywall patch? A. Under normal weather conditions a textured drywall patch will be fully dry & ready for paint in approximately 24 - 48 hours. The following conditions may extend the time a patch takes to fully cure: Cold/ Rainy weather, poor air circulation, the size of the patch or textured area.
Q. Do you replace insulation? A. Yes, we insulate all exterior walls & thoroughly inspect your wall for any damaged insulation that might need to be replaced.
Q. What are the Home Owners responsibilities? A. Removing items that you feel are in the way helps: taking down artwork, picture frames, moving furniture, clearing a clear pathway to the repair ect. Making sure pets are put somewhere clear out of the work area and kept from running away.
Q. How long does it take for you to do a patch? A. An standard 2ft. x 2ft. hole will take between 1 - 2 hours. This includes: repairing the drywall & getting it textured (paint ready)
Q. What kind of paint should I use? A. The outcome of your drywall patch will greatly depend on how it's painted. We suggest you to use a primer first, brands such as Kilz or Zinzer. If touch up paint is more than 1 year old re-rolling the entire wall might be necessary.
